Healthy Mind, Healthy Body

Happy April Everyone!

You have all made it more than halfway through the semester which means that you are almost to the end of the semester! With that in mind, it’s important to take care of ourselves in the midst of school and other stressors because all of these factors influence our mindset and overall health. But to steer away from these impacts, we must first establish rules within our routine. So, what exactly does it look like to establish a healthy routine for our body and ourselves?

Being a stude nt is not always easy in today’s generation due to the constant stress and frustration we all hold with exams, homework, clubs, or even dealing with social life. But the one thing to keep in mind is that there will always be a way to navigate these hardships regardless of the matter. Let’s take a deeper look into the resources that we have for students and how to build a daily routine eliminating stress.

CSU has an extraordinary number of resources for students in need of any help. For example, the CSU Health Network provides an access number of resources for all students ranging from medical emergencies to mental health counseling. As a student, it may be intimidating to seek out help and see what you can change within your life to avoid those resources. In a way, you can do that by slowly building a healthy foundation in your life and managing school at the same time. One way to do that is to prioritize your health first. Making sure you are eating right, getting enough sleep, and managing stress are all the key factors in allowing your body to get stronger and healthier.

If you have any questions about health and ways to help improve your daily routine, feel free to contact the CSU Health Network website and they are willing to guide you in the right direction.
