Thank you all for your participation and cooperation in our recent fire drills.  We want to remind everyone that modern fires burn hot and fast and can engulf a room within 3 minuets.  Emergency responders will be on the scene within 2-4 minuets. This means that when a fire alarm activates you should always use your nearest exit including fire stair towers or emergency exit doors that are normally alarmed.  Quickly gather in your building assembly  area where University Housing staff will give you further instruction or assistance.
