Aggie Family Sept CAM Unity

With great joy, I would like to introduce myself, Bhanupriya Angala (I go by Bhanu), your Community Coordinator (CC) for the year 2023-2024. I am from Hyderabad, India. I pursued bachelor’s degree in medicine in my hometown and moved to Fort Collins following my wedding. My husband, Shiva, is working as a Research Scientist at CSU. We now have two wonderful boys, Adhrit, 11, and Aarush, 7-and-a-half. You might have seen them playing soccer, biking, and spending most of their time outside in the courtyard. I am working as a Research Associate in the Department of Microbiology at CSU. I enjoy listening to melodious music, trying new recipes, going on long walks, family bike rides, hiking, doing art works with my kiddos, and playing badminton and chess. Aggie Village Family Apartments is well known for the international community. It provides residents with maximum resources to socialize and positively impacts academic achievement. I am pleased to be a part of such a community, and as your CC, I would be more than happy to address any questions or concerns you may have. Do not hesitate to reach out to me at Bhanupriya.Angala@colostate.edu.

My name is Maria and I am currently a 4th year student studying social work. I have been an RA for the past two years and look forward to meeting the families and members of this community. During my free time, I like to go on drives and a new habit I want to start is the gym. (We will see if this happens) I love reading anything fiction and I am a friendly person so just come say hi! My email is maria13@colostate.edu.

Hiya! My name is Peyton Tajchman and I am so excited to have joined this year’s staff! I am in my 4th year of undergrad studying Fish, Wildlife and Conservation Biology. I live in Aggie Village with my partner, Molly, and our always-meowing cat, Apollo. Despite living in Colorado my whole life, I have surprisingly never been skiing or snowboarding, but you may catch me skateboarding around campus. Swimming is my exercise of choice, and as such I spent my summer floating around a tiny river at the CSU Mountain Campus. I adore insects and love sharing my knowledge of them with others! If you see a cool bug running around, please take a picture, I’d love to see it!

Hello, my name is Maya Potter and I am glad to welcome you to Aggie Village Family! I will serve as a CC (community coordinator) here in AVF for this 2023-24 year.

I was born in the Yunnan province of China and am adopted so I grew up in Greeley, Colorado. I am a 4th year student studying restoration ecology. I love to garden, read books, listen to music,  go rock climbing, learn new languages, and do digital/traditional art.

I am here to support you so feel free to email me at maya.potter@colostate.edu with any questions, comments, or concerns!
