Multiple areas of Housing & Dining Services are actively recruiting for summer student employment positions! Positions are available on the Main campus and at the CSU Mountain Campus and are appropriate for a variety of majors. 

Conference & Event Services is hiring up to 38 students to fill the Guest Services Representative (GSR) role, greeting guests mid-May to mid-August. 

  • A partial meal plan (85 meals) is provided for the summer. 
  • Hourly compensation starting at $14.42 with air-conditioned, on-campus housing (or $16.00/hour for staff who choose to live off-campus).

Mountain Campus is hiring up to 35 students for seasonal crews, including: dining, housekeeping, office, challenge course, utility (grounds work), and Eco Experience Instructors.  

  • Incredible seasonal employment experience in a remote Rocky Mountain valley at 9,000’.   
  • Free meals and housing for all staff, for the entire duration of your employment. 
  • Hourly wage starting at $15.00, with work weeks of 32-40 hours.

University Housing is hiring up to 10 students for the Summer Resident Assistant (RA) position working with Summer Session Housing in Parmelee Hall.  

 

  • The Summer RA position is a live-in student staff position that assists with community building and safety/security within the residence halls.  This position provides students with a unique summer living and working experience on campus.  
  • A single room in the residence halls and 21 meals per week are provided during employment.

Housing & Dining Facilities is hiring up to 85 students primarily for the Environmental Building Services role, cleaning & prepping rooms and apartments, and more limited Maintenance roles including painting and minor repairs from mid-May to mid-August, with the opportunity to continue in the Fall. 

 

  • Hourly compensation includes our base wage of $16.00, plus a $2.00/hr. summer wage bonus which sunsets with the final August paycheck ($18.00/hr. for the summer).
